Residence

Introduction

  – Residence is a land claiming feature of ImagineCraft.  You can select land using a stick and claim the land for a price of course. After you buy land, you can add flags (permissions) by global, player, or subzone.  First lets delve into Residence Creation. Then we will look at flags and last but not least how to put your residence on the market.

Creating a Residence

  – For a detailed explanation of creating a residence click here. Otherwise for a quick explanation of the basics read on.

  – You will need a stick for this. With the stick left-click one corner of the space you wanna claim and then right-click the other corner of the cuboid.

 – To expand your selection use “/res select expand <amount>” and it will expand that many blocks in the direction you are facing. For more selection options click here to see a list of commands.

  – After you have the area you want to claim use “/res select cost” to see how much it will cost you to claim.  Then when you are ready use “/res create <ResidenceName>

  – For a visual demonstration please check the video below.

Flags (Permissions)

  – Click here for a list of flags. When using any of the commands, they should bring you to a gui with a list of flags. Also you must be standing in the Residence you would like to modify before using any of these commands.

Global

  – Global flags are flags that are set for everyone except the owner.

  • Command
    •  “/res set” – Will open a list of flags for Global. Must be standing inside the Residence.

Player

  – Players by default are set to the global flags of your property. If you would like you can customize flags per player.

  • Commands (Have to be standing in a already created residence.)
    • /res pset <playername>” – This will open a gui of flags for that player. Must be standing inside the Residence.

Subzone

  – Subzone flags are based off of a selection within your property. For example you could give the bedroom section no access to the door while the rest of the residence has access. You must create a subzone in residence first, before you can set subzone flags.

  • Creating Subzone
    • Select two points with the stick. Then use the command below
    • Command
      • /res subzone <SubZoneName> – Must be standing in residence.
  • Setting Subzone Permissions
    • Command
      • /res set <ResidenceName>.<SubZoneName>”  – Do not forget the dot between ResidenceName and SubZoneName. Must be standing in the Residence.

Market

  – You can sell or rent your property on the market. The Residence Market system comes with an integrated residence-sign feature to have easy way to buy/rent to players without them having to  use any commands in-game. Create a residence, then add it to the market, and create the sign with [market] on first line, and you’re done.
Creating a market residence, with sign.

  – You need to add residence into market with “/res market rentable [residenceName] [costToRent] [intervalInDays] (allowRenewing) (stayInMarket) (allowAutoPay)command.

  – For example, “/res market rentable MyHouse 1000 7″

  – In this example it will put MyHouse on the market for rent, for 1000 bucks each week.

  – When the sign is placed inside the residence then you only have to set the top line as [market] and the rest of it gets filled in and that makes it interactable.

  – When you place the sign outside of the residence you will need to provide the residence name in the second and third lines. Provide the residence name in the second/third/fourth lines (start from first and carry the name on the following line if it does not fit).

Server Backup

  – We backup at 3:00am EST everyday of the hard files.  So if we get a griefer we can always restore but we may not need that with Core Protect.

Core Protect

  – CoreProtect keeps track of every change and who caused the changes.  It will log them so they can be researched and mended by doing a simple item restoration or whatever the case may be.  If you feel you have fell victim to a loss from griefers, contact a server admin.

Icon Based Mapping System

   – In the map each building in Windria is labeled with an Icon and when hovered over it, the icon will display the building name. That way it is easier to get around town for shopping or questing needs.
