ImagineCraft uses mcMMO's standard linear curve. From your current skill level, the next level requires 1,020 + (current level × 20) XP.

Ability unlocks, upgrades, and statistics
These are the exact Standard Mode requirements and configured effect statistics on ImagineCraft. Rank 1 is the ability unlock; every later rank is an upgrade.
Catalysis passively increases the speed of all brewing operations. The speed multiplier scales linearly from the minimum (1.0×) at level 0 to the maximum (4.0×) at level 100.

Concoctions unlocks additional brewing ingredients that can be used in the brewing stand to create special potions not craftable in vanilla Minecraft. Each rank unlocks a new set of ingredients; your current tier is the highest tier you have access to, and includes all ingredients from lower tiers.

- New ingredients: Carrot → Haste: increases mining and attack speed; Phantom Membrane → Slow Falling: slows descent and prevents fall damage; Slimeball → Dullness: applies Mining Fatigue, reducing mining and attack speed
Rank 3Level 20Upgrade
- New ingredients: Quartz → Absorption: grants temporary absorption health; Rabbit's Foot → Leaping: increases jump height
Rank 4Level 35Upgrade
- New ingredients: Apple → Health Boost: temporarily increases maximum health; Rotten Flesh → Hunger: increases food exhaustion so the hunger bar drains faster
Rank 5Level 50Upgrade
- New ingredients: Brown Mushroom → Nausea: distorts the player's view; Ink Sac → Blindness: severely limits vision and prevents sprinting
Rank 6Level 75Upgrade
- New ingredients: Fern → Saturation: restores hunger and saturation
Rank 7Level 90Upgrade
- New ingredients: Poisonous Potato → Decay: applies Wither damage over time
Rank 8Level 100Upgrade
- New ingredients: Golden Apple → Resistance: reduces most incoming damage
